How is the month half over already?!
Tuesday & Thursday storytimes this week from 10-11 a.m. Invite a friend! We do open play, a song, read aloud, craft & snack all within the hour. Different crafts each day! 🐿️
Thursday, September 17th marks the return of our after school program! 3:45 to 5 p.m.
Fairley students can be bussed over with a form filled out for the bus garage 🚌
Parent pick up is at 5 p.m.! This week we'll make keychains for their new backpacks! 🎒

We are excited to announce the Hannibal Family Events Committee's Fall event:
Hannibal Harvest Family Fun Night! 🎃
This event will be at the Hannibal Fire Department on Friday, October 9th from 6:00-8:00PM.
Registration is required for this free event as space is limited. Registration will open on September 21st (next Monday).
Join us for dinner, fall treats, games, pumpkin painting and a caramel apple station!

Program Details
Thanks to the generous support of the Literacy Coalition of Oswego County and United Way of Greater Oswego County, Hannibal Free Library is proud to be part of
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Oswego County: www.oswegoimaginationlibrary.org—a FREE program that provides books to children from birth until their fifth birthday, available to families regardless of their income. This early literacy initiative encourages parents/guardians and children to read together and share the love of reading!
Each month, a high-quality and age-appropriate book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to their home. They can look forward to new and exciting reading adventures from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Who Is Eligible?
All children in Oswego County, from birth until their fifth birthday.
What Are My Responsibilities?
1. Submit an official registration form, with phone number and email address, filled out by the parent or guardian. Forms are available at the Hannibal Free Library, or enroll online here.
2. Notify United Way of Greater Oswego County any time your address changes.* Books are mailed to the address listed on the registration form. If the child’s address changes, you must contact United Way at 315-593-1900, ext. 5, or email iloc@oswegounitedway.org.
*If the new address is outside of Oswego County, the child will transfer to another affiliation’s program if available or will be removed from the program.
3. Read with your child!
Board Meetings
The Hannibal Free Library Board of Trustees monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:15PM in the Community Center at the library. The next meeting will be held Monday, June 15, 2026.
