There are two more days of programming this summer!
Tuesday (8/18) from 10-11 a.m. we'll have a fossil program with an educator from Cornell Cooperative Extension Oswego County. Stay for lunch from 11-noon 🍴
On Thursday (8/20) we'll have a mini golf course ⛳ set up on our front lawn!
Stop in from 10-noon to golf, have a snow cone ❄️, have one last lunch & it's the last stop for Oswego Bookmobile @ 11:15 a.m.

This is a last minute idea đź’ˇ but would anyone like to join us on Tuesday (18th) for a rummage sale?
Kids can have a blanket or a table on the front lawn to sell their wares. Could be clothing they've grown out of, old toys, 3D printed or crocheted items, or veggies from their garden 🪏 🥬
This would be the same time as the Hannibal Farmers Market, from 3-7 p.m. (weather depending).
Just a $5 đź’µ a table donation to the library to join.

Thanks to the generous support of the Literacy Coalition of Oswego County and United Way of Greater Oswego County, Hannibal Free Library is proud to be part ofÂ
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Oswego County: www.oswegoimaginationlibrary.org—a FREE program that provides books to children from birth until their fifth birthday, available to families regardless of their income. This early literacy initiative encourages parents/guardians and children to read together and share the love of reading!
Each month, a high-quality and age-appropriate book will be mailed in your child’s name directly to their home. They can look forward to new and exciting reading adventures from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Who Is Eligible?
All children in Oswego County, from birth until their fifth birthday.
What Are My Responsibilities?
1. Submit an official registration form, with phone number and email address, filled out by the parent or guardian. Forms are available at the Hannibal Free Library, or enroll online here.
2. Notify United Way of Greater Oswego County any time your address changes.* Books are mailed to the address listed on the registration form. If the child’s address changes, you must contact United Way at 315-593-1900, ext. 5, or email iloc@oswegounitedway.org.
*If the new address is outside of Oswego County, the child will transfer to another affiliation’s program if available or will be removed from the program.
3. Read with your child!
Board Meetings
The Hannibal Free Library Board of Trustees monthly meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:15PM in the Community Center at the library. The next meeting will be held Monday, June 15, 2026.
